Roof Restoration Karuah
A-Z Roof Coating recently had the pleasure of restoring the Karuah Motor Inn‘s roof.
This conveniently located accommodation found at 422 Tarean Road, Karuah NSW, Australia 2329, offers King, Queen, Twin and Family rooms – which are comfy and affordable.
With easy off street parking, accessing the property is no hassle at all, however due to the sheer height and size of the premises , a “cherrypicker” was used in order to complete this commercial roof restoration effectively.
We completed the regular restoration process:
- Throughly cleaning the roof with a high pressure cleaner.
- Repairing any broken or cracked tiles
- Repointing the ridge capping
- Sealing the roof
- Priming the roof
- Apply 2 top coats of paint.
However, due to the age of the cement tiles, in this instance, the tiles required additional coats of paint in order to deliver a premium result.
We anticipate that most roofs will only require the standard two coats of paint. However, every roof is different dependant on:
- the state or condition of the roof at the time of restoration,
- the age of the roof
- and the environmental exposure,
These impacts will all be taken into consideration. The end result is to provide you with a great looking roof. Should your roof fall into the category that requires further coats, we’ll let you know.
In conjunction with restoring the cement tile roof. A-Z Roof coatings also completed additional paintwork attending to the trims, gutters etc in order to give a complete facelift to such a great local asset.
